Simply Arrived

Notification Opt-In

Choose how Simply Arrived notifies you

Simply Arrived sends check-in alerts to staff members at organizations that use the Simply Arrived kiosk check-in system. Your organization’s administrator has invited you to choose how you’d like to be notified — by text message, by email, or not at all. Open the personal link emailed to you, or enter the 8-character invite code your administrator gave you. If you choose text messages, you’ll enter your own mobile number, verify it with a one-time code, and then review the consent statement and confirm.

Confirm your opt-in

Open the personal link emailed to you, or enter the 8-character invite code your organization’s administrator gave you, then choose text message, email, or no alerts. If you choose text, you will enter and verify your own mobile number and then review and confirm the following consent statement:

I agree to receive automated check-in alert text messages from Simply Arrived at the phone number shown above, letting me know when a client has checked in to see me or a staff member I have agreed to cover. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of employment.

The complete terms of the messaging program — message types, frequency, cost, and how to stop messages — are set out in full below.

How this works

  1. 1. Your administrator adds you. They enter your name and, optionally, your work email in their Simply Arrived dashboard. They do not enter a phone number. Nothing is sent to you yet, and you are not opted in to anything.
  2. 2. You get an invitation. Either a personal link by email, or an 8-character invite code your administrator reads out or writes down. Both expire in 48 hours and work once.
  3. 3. You choose, here on this page. Text message, email, or no alerts — nothing is pre-selected, and the three options are equal. If you choose text, you type your own mobile number, we text it a one-time verification code, and only after the number is verified do you see the consent statement and agree to it. If someone else holds the phone (a front-desk line, say), that person enters the code and agrees.
  4. 4. That is the whole setup. No app to download. Alerts begin the next time someone checks in to see you. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

These are the screens a staff member moves through after opening their emailed link or entering their invite code above. They are reproduced here in full, read-only and with sample details, so the whole opt-in can be reviewed without an invite. Choosing to receive text messages is entirely optional: email and “don’t notify me” are equal choices on the same screen, and any choice leaves the staff member’s access to Simply Arrived unchanged.

Example Organization

Hi Sam. How should we tell you when a client checks in to see you?

For reference, see our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Agreeing to those is separate from, and not required for, your choice above.

Step 3 — if you chose text: verify your mobile number

You enter your own 10-digit US mobile number and say whose phone it is (yours, or someone else’s who takes your alerts). Then:

By tapping Send code you agree to receive one text with a verification code. Msg&data rates may apply.

A 6-digit code arrives by text. Entering it proves the phone is in your hands. No consent has been given yet, and nothing else is sent.

About the Simply Arrived SMS program

Program name
Simply Arrived check-in alerts, operated by Simply Arrived, LLC.
Who receives messages
Staff members at organizations that use the Simply Arrived kiosk check-in system, who have personally verified their mobile number and opted in on this page. Messages are never sent to clients, visitors, or anyone who has not opted in.
What you will receive
Three kinds of message. When you complete opt-in, a one-time confirmation. After that, an automated, operational alert telling you that a client has checked in to see you or a staff member you have agreed to cover, sent at the moment they check in at your organization’s kiosk or from their own phone. No marketing, promotional, or fundraising messages of any kind. Messages do not contain links. If the client checked in from their phone, the alert also carries a short reply code you can text back to let them know you are ready for them. Replying is optional. When you reply with a valid code, we send you one short confirmation that we have acted on it, and we notify the waiting client in the Simply Arrived app. A reply we cannot match to a recent check-in gets no response at all. Those are the only messages a reply produces.
Example messages

SimplyArrived: You’re opted in to check-in alerts for your organization. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Maria Gonzalez checked in at Front Desk for David C. at 2:15 PM.

Maria Gonzalez checked in at Front Desk for David C. at 2:15 PM. Reply 3 when ready, or 103 to block mobile check-ins from this client.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only in response to a client check-in, so the number you receive depends on how many people check in to see you. There is no recurring or scheduled send.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Simply Arrived does not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from Simply Arrived to stop receiving them immediately. You may also reply OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL. You can opt out at any time, for any reason, and you will receive one confirmation message and nothing further.
You can also opt out without texting: click the “Opt Out” link in any Simply Arrived email, ask your organization’s administrator to revoke your consent, or email support@simplyarrived.com.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, contact your organization’s administrator, or email support@simplyarrived.com.
Your phone number
We collect your mobile number for one purpose: sending you these check-in alerts. You enter it yourself and verify it with a one-time code; your administrator never enters it for you. We never use it for marketing, and we never sell or share it. After you opt in, your organization’s administrator can see the number in their Simply Arrived dashboard, because alerts for their clients go to it.
Consent
Opting in is voluntary. Consent is not a condition of any purchase and is not a condition of employment. Simply Arrived does not require SMS consent from anyone, and organizations using Simply Arrived may not require it as a condition of employment or engagement. If you would rather not receive text messages, choose email or “don’t notify me” on the same screen — the choice is yours, not your administrator’s. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our messaging provider for the sole purpose of delivering these notifications.
