Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Simply Arrived’s website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.

Simply Arrived reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

SMS Notifications Terms

1. Opt-In Requirement

Text messages go only to a phone whose owner has personally opted that phone in. No one else can opt a phone in on their behalf. Simply Arrived will not send SMS messages to a number unless:

  1. You have opened your own invite — either a single-use link emailed to you, or the opt-in page at simplyarrived.com/opt-in with the invite code your administrator gave you — and verified your mobile number with the one-time code we texted to it
  2. You have reviewed the SMS program disclosure shown on that page
  3. You have chosen text notifications, ticked the consent box, and saved your choice

Your organization’s administrator can add you to their organization and enter a phone number, but that alone never opts anyone in and never causes a message to be sent — it only makes the opt-in request available to the person who answers that phone, to accept or ignore. Simply Arrived does not send unsolicited SMS.

2. Your Consent

By opting in to SMS notifications, you:

Opting in is voluntary

Consent is not a condition of purchase and is not a condition of employment. Simply Arrived does not require SMS consent from anyone, and organizations using Simply Arrived may not require a staff member to consent to SMS as a condition of their employment or engagement. If you would rather not receive text messages, you can decline them on the opt-in screen, or ask your administrator to send the same check-in alerts by email instead. Declining has no effect on your standing with Simply Arrived.

3. Opt-Out Rights

You have the unconditional right to stop receiving SMS notifications at any time:

Upon opt-out, Simply Arrived will stop sending SMS within a reasonable time (typically one message cycle). If you continue to receive SMS after opting out, contact support@simplyarrived.com immediately.

4. Message Frequency & Content

Frequency: Message frequency varies. SMS is sent only in response to a client check-in, so how many messages you receive depends on how many people check in to see you. There is no recurring or scheduled send. Simply Arrived does not send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages.

Content: SMS messages are operational check-in notifications and do not contain personal health information or sensitive data.

“SimplyArrived: You’re opted in to check-in alerts for your organization. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

“Maria Gonzalez checked in at Front Desk for David C. at 2:15 PM.”

“Jordan Lee checked in at Lobby Kiosk for Alex M. Reply 3 when ready, or 103 to block mobile check-ins from this client.”

5. Technical Requirements

To receive SMS notifications, you must:

6. Phone Numbers Shared by Several Staff

One phone can receive check-in alerts for more than one staff member — a shared front-desk line, or an assistant who takes arrivals for the clinicians they support. Because consent belongs to the phone number rather than to a job title, the rules for a shared phone are:

7. Third-Party SMS Provider: Twilio

Simply Arrived uses Twilio to deliver SMS messages. By opting in, you acknowledge your phone number will be processed by Twilio and you accept Twilio’s Terms of Service. Simply Arrived is not responsible for Twilio service interruptions or delivery failures, though we will work with Twilio to resolve issues.

8. Message Rates & Carrier Responsibility

Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for checking with your mobile carrier regarding SMS charges. Simply Arrived does not control carrier rates.

9. TCPA Compliance & Disclaimers

10. Accuracy of Phone Number

You represent and warrant that:

You are responsible for keeping your phone number current. A number change requires a new opt-in.

11. Changes to SMS Service

Simply Arrived reserves the right to:

User Obligations

As a user of Simply Arrived, you agree to:

Simply Arrived is not liable for:

  • Message delays or delivery failures (including Twilio outages)

Your sole remedy for SMS service issues is to contact support@simplyarrived.com.

You may terminate at any time by replying STOP to any SMS.

Support & Troubleshooting

If you have issues with SMS notifications:

  1. Confirm your phone has SMS enabled and data is not depleted
  2. Ensure you haven’t blocked Simply Arrived’s sender number
  3. Ask your organization admin to verify your opt-in status
  4. Email support@simplyarrived.com with the last 4 digits of your number and expected message time

Changes to Terms

Simply Arrived may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted here or communicated by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to comply with applicable law.
